8 Days Luxury Northern Tanzania Safari
Day 01
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and picked up by a professional safari guide from Eco Kilimanjaro Expedition. After assistance with luggage and a short safari briefing, you are transferred to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
This day is reserved for arrival and relaxation, allowing you to recover from your international journey while enjoying the calm surroundings before the safari begins.
Upon arrival at your Hotel, you check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served, followed by an overnight stay.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.
You spend the day exploring the park’s varied landscapes, with excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted game viewing. In the late afternoon, you proceed to the Ngorongoro highlands for your overnight stay.

Day 02
Full Days in Serengeti National Park
After breakfast at your accommodation in Karatu you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Enjoy 3 full days of game viewing in the Central Serengeti. After having breakfast at your accommodation in Serengeti, you will start with your game drive until afternoon where you will have picnic lunch and after that you will continue with afternoon game drives across the vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti Morning Game Drive – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when predators are most active. After exploring the vast plains and abundant wildlife, begin the scenic drive back to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Arrive in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Karatu
Following an early breakfast, you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a comprehensive game drive.
The crater is one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas, supporting a dense population of animals including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch is served on the crater floor while enjoying the dramatic scenery and exceptional wildlife encounters.
In the afternoon, you ascend from the crater and return to Karatu, for overnight.

Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forest, tree climbing lions, elephants, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a game drive with views of the Rift Valley escarpment before returning to Arusha, where the safari ends with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.

Day 08
Departure
A Fond Farewell or Zanzibar Extension
Rest and recuperation at the hotel before your transfer to the airport.
Note: Hotel check-out is at 10:00 AM. In case you need a late check-out because of an evening flight, there is the option to extend your hotel stay for an extra fee.
