7 Days North Serengeti Migration Safari
Arrival in Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and picked up by a professional safari guide from Eco Kilimanjaro Expedition. After assistance with luggage and a short safari briefing, you are transferred to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
This day is reserved for arrival and relaxation, allowing you to recover from your international journey while enjoying the calm surroundings before the safari begins.
Upon arrival at your Hotel, you check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served, followed by an overnight stay.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.
You spend the day exploring the park’s varied landscapes, with excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted game viewing. In the late afternoon, you proceed to the Ngorongoro highlands for your overnight stay.

Explore North Serengeti following the Great Migration (river crossing)
Set off from your accommodation in Karatu and journey through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with its rolling highlands and stunning views, as you make your way to the northern Serengeti. This region is world-renowned for the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeest and zebra brave the treacherous Mara River crossings, creating one of nature’s most dramatic spectacles.
Enjoy a picnic lunch en route and continue with game drives that bring you close to thrilling wildlife encounters. Spend two unforgettable nights in the north at a tented camp or lodge, where evenings are filled with the sounds of the wilderness under a starlit sky.

North to central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast in the Northern Serengeti, begin your scenic drive toward the central plains, enjoying the changing landscapes along the way. Pause for a picnic or bush lunch amidst the wilderness before continuing your journey.
Arrive in the Seronera region, the heart of the Serengeti, famous for its rich wildlife and big cat sightings. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, exploring the area’s diverse habitats, before heading to your tented camp or lodge for relaxation, a delicious dinner, and an overnight stay. Destination: Central Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro conservation Area
After breakfast in the Serengeti, enjoy a final morning game drive, soaking in the park’s vast plains and wildlife. Depart towards Ngorongoro Conservation Area with packed lunch boxes. There’s plenty of opportunities to spot wildlife along the way.
Arrive at your accommodation by late afternoon for check-in. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on the incredible safari experiences before an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing drive. Undoubtedly, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year.
You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! Undeniably, it is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros. Furthermore, the park is home to the entirety of The Big Five. It is particularly good place to see lions, herds of wildebeest, zebras and cape buffalo year-round. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to Arusha city either at your accommodation if you wish to stay longer or at the airport to catch your flight to your next destination
