7 Days Mid-Range Tanzania Safari
Day 01
Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport – Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and picked up by a professional safari guide from Eco Kilimanjaro Expedition. After assistance with luggage and a short safari briefing, you are transferred to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
This day is reserved for arrival and relaxation, allowing you to recover from your international journey while enjoying the calm surroundings before the safari begins.
Upon arrival at your Hotel, you check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served, followed by an overnight stay.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.
You spend the day exploring the park’s varied landscapes, with excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted game viewing. In the late afternoon, you proceed to the Ngorongoro highlands for your overnight stay.

Day 03
Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Central Serengeti
Depart early for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
The crater hosts a remarkable concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. After lunch at the Ngoitoktok Picnic Site, ascend the crater and continue to the Central Serengeti for dinner and overnight. Full Days in Serengeti National Park
Enjoy 2 full days of game viewing in the Central Serengeti. After an early morning game drive, return to camp for breakfast or enjoy a picnic in the bush. Continue with afternoon game drives across the vast plains, home to lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 & 05
Serengeti Morning Game Drive – Karatu
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, when predators are most active.
After exploring the vast plains and abundant wildlife, begin the scenic drive back to Karatu with a lunch box en route. Arrive in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Day 06
Karatu – Lake Manyara National Park – Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forest, tree climbing lions, elephants, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a game drive with views of the Rift Valley escarpment before returning to Arusha, where the safari ends with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.

Day 07
Departure
A Fond Farewell or Zanzibar Extension
Rest and recuperation at the hotel before your transfer to the airport.
