6 Days Ndutu Migration Safari
Day 01
Arrival in Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed and picked up by a professional safari guide from Eco Kilimanjaro Expedition. After assistance with luggage and a short safari briefing, you are transferred to Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit.
This day is reserved for arrival and relaxation, allowing you to recover from your international journey while enjoying the calm surroundings before the safari begins.
Upon arrival at your Hotel, you check in and spend the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner is served, followed by an overnight stay.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, you depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which attracts abundant wildlife throughout the year.
You spend the day exploring the park’s varied landscapes, with excellent opportunities to spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and diverse birdlife. A picnic lunch is enjoyed inside the park, allowing uninterrupted game viewing. In the late afternoon, you proceed to the Ngorongoro highlands for your overnight stay.

Day 03
Ngorongoro Crater to Ndutu
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing drive. Undoubtedly, the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most famous sites and is said to have the highest density of wildlife in Africa. Sometimes described as an ‘eighth wonder of the world’, the Crater has achieved world renown, attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors each year.
You are unlikely to escape other vehicles here, but you are guaranteed great wildlife viewing in a genuinely mind-blowing environment. There is nowhere else in Africa quite like Ngorongoro! Undeniably, it is one of the best places in the country to see the endangered black rhinoceros. Furthermore, the park is home to the entirety of The Big Five. It is particularly good place to see lions, herds of wildebeest, zebras and cape buffalo year-round. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late afternoon, ascend the crater and drive to your tented camp in Ndutu, arriving late afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Full Days in Ndutu Plains
After breakfast, we begin with an early morning game drive inside Ndutu, the heart of the Great Migration. Spend two nights surrounded by vast plains where thousands of wildebeest gather for the calving season, creating thrilling predator-prey action.
Enjoy game drives capturing the incredible wildlife and breath-taking landscapes before relaxing at your tented camp in the evening, embracing the magic of the Serengeti wilderness. A packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late afternoon, drive to your tented camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 04
Ndutu to Karatu
After breakfast in Ndutu, enjoy a final morning game drive, soaking in the park’s vast plains and wildlife. Depart towards Karatu, passing through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Arrive in Karatu by late afternoon for check-in at your lodge. Relax and enjoy a delicious dinner, reflecting on the incredible safari experiences before an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its lush forest, tree climbing lions, elephants, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a game drive with views of the Rift Valley escarpment before returning to Arusha, where the safari ends with a drop-off at your hotel or airport.

Day 06
Departure
A Fond Farewell or Zanzibar Extension
Rest and recuperation at the hotel before your transfer to the airport.
Note: Hotel check-out is at 10:00 AM. In case you need a late check-out because of an evening flight, there is the option to extend your hotel stay for an extra fee.
